Air Traffic at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, April 7, 2006 |
I was in Arizona for over a week touring the airports in the vicinity of Phoenix. I visited Sky Harbor International Airport, Williams-Gateway Airport, Luke Air Force Base, Goodyear Airport, and Falcon Field.
On Friday, April 7, I spent some time on the south bank of the Salt River at the end of 40th Street taking pictures of the airplanes at Sky Harbor International Airport.
US Airways Express Canadair CRJ-900, N939LR was delivered to Mesa Airlines on July 28, 2005. Its construction number is 15039.
Southwest Boeing 737-5H4, N507SW was delivered on May 30, 1990. Its construction number is 24184.
US Airways Airbus A319-132 N838AW in heritage America West livery. It was delivered on November 17, 2005. Its construction number is 2615.
America West Express Canadair CRJ-900, N930LR was delivered on March 11, 2005. Its construction number is 15030.
US Airways Airbus A320-232, N601AW was delivered to BAHC as N320CD on June 17, 2003. It was leased to Aero Lloyd as D-ALAU on August 4, 2003. America West leased it on December 3, 2003. It was transferred to US Airways on February 12, 2006. Its construction number is 1935.
Lowa Ltd. Boeing 707-330B, N88ZL was delivered to Lufthansa as D-ABUF on December 28, 1965. It was leased to Condor for three years. Aerommer/Lowa registered it as N5381X on July 3, 1984. It received its current registration in March 1985. Its construction number is 18928.
It has been reported that a buyer in Switzerland has acquired Boeing 707-330B, N88ZL. Another classic United States airplane is being exported. This was the last 707 that carried paying passengers in the United States.

American McDonnell-Douglas MD-82, N246AA was delivered on October 9, 1984. Its construction number is 49258.
Lear 60, N101HW was built in 1994. its construction number is 037.
Falcon 900, N60TL was built in 1989. its construction number is 75.
Northwest Boeing 757-251, N511US was delivered on October 22, 1985. Its construction number is 23199.
America West Airbus A319-132, N810AW was delivered on November 12, 1999. Its construction number is 1116.
