The 2004 Pt Mugu airshow was held
on September 18 and 19. It was neat seeing such a variety of large
Navy turbo-props on static display. The show featured a great
collection of different C-130 types.

of Grumman G-44A Widgeon, N44CH is restored in Royal navy colors. It was built in 1946, and
its Grumman construction
number is 1454.
North American Navion-A, N91788 was built in 1947. Its North American
construction number is NAV-4-503.
Piper Pa-23-160 Apache,
N4164P was built in 1959. Its Piper construction number is 1649.
Mooney M20E, N5775Q was built
in 1965. Its Mooney construction number is 746.

of the collection of the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.

Humid conditions resulted in impressive vapor condensation in the
low pressure around the fast and maneuvering jets at the 2004 Pt Mugu airshow.
