event. Airplanes flown included several Mustangs, two Corsairs, a
pair of Thunderbolts, two Mitchells, two Hellcats, a Bearcat, two
Warhawks, a Zero, a Northrop flying wing, a Super Hornet and the
rest.

candidate flew from Palmdale to Edwards AFB on July 3, 2001.
The NB-52B carried the X-38 Crew Return Vehicle
aloft on Friday, June 29 in an attempt to launch the seventh
mission of the test program.
